Leprechaun is about Irish Heritage

At Leprechaun, we believe in a simple truth: on March 14th, everyone is a little bit Irish! This event isn’t just a crawl; it’s a celebration of Irish heritage in the heart of NYC.

Whether you’re a native New Yorker or a visitor chasing the rainbow, here is how we celebrate:

  • A Village United: We bring together a massive “village” of Leprechauns, Green Fairies, and Celtic warriors to spread joy across midtown Manhattan.

  • Celebrating the Spirit: The day is about more than just a pint—it features scheduled Irish performances throughout Midtown to honor traditional culture with a modern twist.

  • The Power of Participation: We honor heritage through creativity, encouraging attendees to go beyond a simple green t-shirt and embrace the holiday magic.

  • Community & Giving: In the spirit of Irish hospitality, the event is built on charity, ensuring that our “liquid gold” hunt helps support local arts and community causes.

Come ready to dance, tip your bartenders like heroes, and address every new friend you meet by their true name for the day: Leprechaun!

How to follow the Leprechaun Code!

  • A Leprechaun is AWESOME to bar staff! Best to pay with cash… It gets chaotic when the village comes to town. Tip well, bring your ID, and be the guest they want to see again.

  • A Leprechaun is of legal drinking age… (21+ is the magic number).

  • A Leprechaun gives to charity: Part of the gold in your pot goes toward supporting local community arts and non-profits.

  • A Leprechaun spreads JOY: Not terror. Not vomit. Not trash. Leave the city cleaner than you found it.

  • A Leprechaun leaves no trace: Put trash and recycling into cans. Don’t be the one who ruins the luck for everyone else.

  • A Leprechaun is about PEACE: Not fighting. Should you find yourself in conflict with a drunken Leprechaun, walk away. Just let it go… keep the vibes golden.

  • A Leprechaun respects the city: No pissing on the streets, starting fights, blocking traffic, or climbing on cars.

  • A Leprechaun respects the NYPD: Police will be at our stops to keep everyone safe. Respect them and follow all local laws.

  • A Leprechaun comes prepared: Comfy shoes for walking the route, plenty of cash for quick service, and layers for the unpredictable March weather.

  • A Leprechaun stays safe: Don’t drink more than you can handle. Doing so endangers yourself, your friends, and the future of the event.
